Dr. David Tumlinson has owned Montrose Vet Clinic since 1981. He attended veterinary school at Auburn University, and is still committed to his alma mater, as almost every spring you can find an Auburn vet student interning at our clinic! He and his wife, Marilyn, spend most of their time with their family, and their three daughters are often recruited to help with their other hobbies, riding and working his small cattle herd. Dave and Marilyn’s grandchildren- Trevor, Kyle, Carson, Blakeley, and Trey-- keep them busy most of the time. Dr. Dave especially enjoys cattle work and orthopedic surgery, but as all of his employees can tell you, he is well-versed in all species. He is a wealth of knowledge and experience, and has continued to build Montrose Vet Clinic’s reputation for progressive medicine with a practical approach. These days he is mostly retired--but just a phone call away for the most valuable knowledge one could ask for!
Dr. Meghan Tumlinson attended veterinary school at CSU and joined Montrose Vet Clinic, alongside her Father, in 2012. Meghan enjoys the wide variety of cases we see here at MVC, and is always up for a challenge! Her special interests include equine wound healing and small animal internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Meghan has several critters of her own and holds a special interest in Sphynx cats operating a small sphynx cattery. She and her husband, Seth, have a daughter, Blakeley, and son, Trey. In her spare time, you can find Meghan spending time with her family helping her husband, Seth, with their small cow herd and spending valuable time with Blakeley and Trey.
